Stay Golden was more than just a stay, It was a Golden Experience! I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a good experience in arugambay for the best price in the area. One of the best holidays I've ever spent in years all thanks to the wonderful experience and the comfort provided by this place and the hosts. Delicious & fresh top grade sea food, cabanas with modern, comfortable and spacious rooms with all facilities, sea view balcony with hammock to relax, beach front property surrounded by beautiful nature and a bunch of friendly puppies and dogs, What more can you ask for? Friendly and cheerful staff, always with a smile on their face ready to attend to any of your requirements. Special thanks to Rihan, our amazing host for going out of his way to give us an amazing experience for our weekend stay at his property, he made us feel like it was our home away from home. Hats off to the amazing service. Would definitely come back to Stay Golden whenever we are back in Arugambay. Absolutely loved our stay! ️

It was not a big fancy type of resort but it was one of the best of hotels/resorts that I have I visited so far in Sri Lanka with a private, less visited beach. Can't speak for foreign tourists, but its the best place for us locals, to get out of busy city life and relax while enjoying a breath-taking view ! Rihan, the owner, and his team was super-helpful arranging tours to nearby sanctuaries and getting fresh regionally sourced fish and vegetable items for dinner. And also a great chef !
Some of the best food on Arugam Bay beachfront and at the lowest prices, also one of the nicer beach set ups. Definitely try the Tropical Explosion smoothie bowl for brekkie!
Best breakfast in arugan bay. Amazing smoothie bowls. So yummy tasty and healtyhy. Beautiful cozy just on the beach. Very friendly staff. Free wifi.
