Very nice service and traditional menu! Excellent view and rooms. But it's an old hotel with no pool and it's very loud because of the traffic noise coming up from the village, the train and the music school right next to the hotel.

Great accommodation.Spacious room, large comfortable lounge rooms and terrace. A warm welcome with wet face washer and hot tea was great. Bed was short, lying diagonally helped though. Meals good served by trained wait staff. Location has good views over a valley and a short but steep drive from the main part of town. Pillow too soft, could do with another and spare blankets in the room as it was cold when we were there, so asked for more blankets which were happily provided. Unfortunately the Buddhist monastery next door woke us up early, at 0600 am with chanting for 25 minutes! Ear plugs or an early night could be suggested in future.

Without doubt one of the favourite hotels I stayed in Bandarawela! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board and we were upgraded to the Paradise Suite. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience with excellent hospitality. Thanks Sangrilla Holiday Resort

They served my family a super menu and the meals were very delicious. Rooms were spacious and clean. Service was number 1 and would like to recommend this hotel to anyone. The manager made us feel just at home with his charm and elegance. It has lovely views which you can enjoy on the balcony. Also the town is just walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed the busy market places and various fruits that is only available in bandarawela

Great place to stay. The room was very spacious and opened to a balcony that provided a very nice panoramic view of the Bandarawela town! The hosts were very nice and the food was really good!! Would definitely recommend this place!
