Was very excited to book a 2 week trip here in march 2020, I wasn’t able to travel because of Covid and have asked kindly for a refund. It’s been over 7 months and although Ben and Alexis have at some point answered an e-mail, they have not returned my money. They owe me 486 euros and continue to ignore my e-mails and requests. Very sad to learn that a camp that presents itself as conscious and good vibes would do this to someone who was so excited to travel and share with them. To customers, a company’s values are extremely important and Camp Poe has demonstrated they don’t care about me or my situation and prefer to keep my well earned money. Truly heartbreaking.

I had a fantastic time at Camp Poe. The location is perfect with only a five minute walk to 2 different surf spots, they have good surf and yoga instructors and a huge selection of boards. The food is amazing especially the fish BBQ. There are also loads of activities you can get stuck into so you always have options on things to do. The camp has a very relaxed vibe and it's jungle setting is very unique. Hope to visit again soon!
Beautiful place with lots of green, cute little tents, and a nice pool. Staff was nice and helpful. Surf classes with Bruno were fabulous. Yoga was also good (the yoga shala is beautiful!) although I would have wished for a bit more variety. Food (buffet for breakfast and dinner) was always very tasty and the kitchen staff is amazingly friendly.
We really loved this upmarket place the relaxed vibe the design and the great staff! Large and beautiful community space in the main building - large sofas to hang out after a good surf. Lessons are held on their own boards and for all levels. They offer a lot activities to keep you amazed beyond surf - all posted at some whiteboards. We had some SUP action and even combined SUP&Yoga exercise in the sunset... also for Yoga they offer a large variety to of styles to choose from - including some styles from Sri Lanka. We loved how the trainers setup the sessions and it was always great experience. For the meals the Billard table is converted to the food presentation and it’s great food. The young chef is talented and full of enthusiasm and love for food - same is true for the rest of the local staff. The management team helps you and really wants you to have a good time :) yes we had - thanks a lot.
Came for 3 nights, extended it to 12 - what a wonderful place.
A really special place in the stunning nature of Sri Lanka’s southcoast. Ben and the whole team made me feel like being part of a wonderful family. Sleeping in a tent is such a nice experience and the beds are very cozy. Food is so delicious and surf and yoga classes are totally worth it! Thanks for everything, I will definitely come back!
Great atmosphere, cool staff and people there. Tents are comfortable, and the food was great. Only negative thing was the limited choice of surf spots. There is one withing walking distance, but no transports to other spots.
