The place to visit for vegetables and fruits in Colombo. Very cheap and fresh. But be aware of what you buy and don't get persuaded by the sellers. Haggling is recommended. Gotto have a bit of a thick skin as they can pass minor insult at you when you haggle. Ignore and continue. We buy one weeks of vegetables and fruits for LKR 1000 for a family of 4 from there.

Great place to buy produce at cheaper prices. They have a large selection of vegetables and fruits, and they are all reasonably fresh. Can get crowded at times, especially in the weekend evenings. They often offer 20%-30% discounts on most items, so there's always a bargain around the corner. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Prices are reasonable, but some people sell very bad vegetables if we don't check each item.
