Stress free shopping experience. Well aerated and spacious so you can follow social distancing. Ample parking, strict Covid safety measures, and staff is like your friendly next door neighbor. Seniors are given attention. Shelves are stacked well and replenished in a timely manner. The meat, fresh juice, bakery, pharmacy counters are placed in a sensible way. I love the stand for the leafy greens, as they are kept fresh with periodic water spraying. Best top crust bread. Manager is easily approachable.

Too bad keells doesn't identify themselves to customers with the different selection they have. .for instance the outlet in union place is an XL size with a bigger range including cafe to have coffee. But this branch in havelock is smaller And the one in marine drive for instance is much smaller. If only keells could identify themselves from outside as S, L or XL , it will help the right customer who is passing by to drop by if that outlet has what they need.

I initially gave Keels Havelock Road a 1 due to a mess up details given below. I was very impressed when I received a call from Ms. Sachini of Customer Service next morning. She made sure that the issue was sorted out and I received my groceries during the specified time. Well done. My previous mail I placed an online order for pick up. My pick up time was between 5-6 p.m. Around 4 p.m. I was sent a mail asking me to collect the items. I went there at 7 p.m. and waited for fifteen minutes to receive my groceries. Then the staff member came and asked me for a verification code which I am yet to receive from Keels. Until this time, there was no mention of any verification code on the sms messages I got asking me to pick up the groceries. Given the stand off (request for a verification code which never reached me) I told them to either refund me or to deliver my groceries but let me know what they intend to do. I am yet to hear from Keels. If this is professionalism of John Keels Group, then they need to get their act together and stop inconveniencing their clients.

My bill was around 5900. I gave the cashier 10k since I didn't have chance. He asked me if I had change and I told him I do not have change. He tried back saying I should know to bring change. Cheap work. Unacceptable because whatever the amount of money I give the cashier should know to accept.
