After a long overdue cut and color, I made an appointment at Salon Kess. From reception to stylist, everything and everyone was top notch. I had dark brown, grown-out roots bleached to a very bright blonde. The staff here were knowledgeable and patient regarding the process, which actually took an initial 4 hour visit and also a follow up. The whole team pitched in to help place foils, hold hair, and blow dry to get the process done as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Everyone was lovely, and it was one of the first times (internationally) that I was not "hair shamed" for my thick, coarse, curly hair! A wonderful experience, I will definitely return if in Colombo again.

I know Kess for a long time. Vasantha is the only person here in Colombo who can handle my fine hair. His cuts are excellent. His team is great! I feel in good hands when asking for advice regarding haircuts, hairstyles, colouring, etc. A highly recommendable place!

I found this hairdresser because I wasn’t able to visit my family and hairdresser in Europe due to the Covid 19. I am glad I did. It was all very professional and I am very happy with the result. I just go there next time, no need to wait for Europe.
Superb experience with hair. It was soothing and comforting going to a hair cut after hospitalization, as they carefully style my hair, felt like I’m actually healing. They can make you pretty while you wait. Ambience is quite modern. Don’t forget to call for an appointment. Price can be , but worth it.
Best cut, highlights and dye I've had outside of the UK. Vasantha did such a good job with my bleached blonde, thick and curly hair. The cut was great and he was spot on with the colour recommendations, giving me a slightly different tone that is much more manageable for living in the humidity of Sri Lanka - it's kept it much healthier. Definitely my new regular hairdresser from now on :) The nail salon that's available is great too, great selection of colours and great looking nails at the end.
