This is one of the oldest mosques in Colombo. I remember it from the sixties, it was the mosque where Colombo Muslims would love to go and also be seen. It still retains some of its old world charm in its high roof and only ground floor structure Been here after ages bringing out lots of nostalgic memories of my childhood. It's certainly a place for any tourist to visit and most certainly a symbol of the pluristic nature of this wonderful blessed land Srilanka.
