Me and my partner were travelling to Europe for a vacation. It was our first (and the last) visit to Muscat airport. We were on a transit. When we were trying to get in to the plane to Athens, the Man (an Indian guy I guess) who was at C2 counter was so rude on us. He was asking why we are going to Greece? He wanted us to show our permanent residency card in Australia. We told him it is non of her business to check our permanent residency status since we have valid passport and visa to Europe. Also we said Australian visas (inclusion permanent residency) are electronic and would not be stamped on the passport. Again, it is not a matter of concern here. The guy didn’t seem to understand much but kept on harassing us asking things. Whether we are married, why we go to Europe etc etc. Both me and my partner are holding Sri Lankan passports and we live in Australia with Australian permanent residency. We have travelled to many destinations in the world and have taken many transits. We never faced this sort of a thing anywhere else. We noted he did the same for some other lady in the raw. All he wanted is to show his authority and act as the big boss there. I cant understand why the airport keep such people with psychological issues in counters, so the entire reputation of the airport / airline is gone. I do not know whether this is the customer treating culture in Muscat airport !! This guy I believe has a big inferiority complex. I wanted to complain about him but none of the Muscat staff didn’t care about it much. On the plane, I wrote a complain, but Airline never even acknowledged it. oman air ONE OF THE MOST RACIST AIRLINES (cos they worship cocsains and show off asians ) in the world WORST AIRLINE EVER. WE WILL NEVER TRAVEL IN OMAN AIR AGAIN !!!

We were always using Oman Air for traveling. This year we were very disappointed with one guy called Praminda who works in Katunayake air port as a ground staff. This guy is very rude, does't know how to respect customers. We will never use Oman Air again.
Easy access in front of Health Ministry office on Deans Road, but Google shows it's as on Foster Lane. Good service, Inside Hayleys building.

Bad service, when the exchange rate was of a 1 178/- in sri Lankan rupess in bank and they charge us 185/- saying it was system price, pure black market
