I got the chance to visit the port via our university. It was one day field trip guided by the officers at ports authority. I would say that the facilities there was top notch and the people were willing to assist us in getting information and explaining the processes. We got the chance to visit the main port and the new port which is still under construction. And also we were able to see the warehouse operations happening. At all these places the responsible officers made sure that we received maximum exposure out of it. It was nice to hear that Port of Colombo is no.1 among the ports with highest growth rate.
