Not a welcoming place. Few things from my experience. Rates are publicly not displayed. The rates are given depending on the person whether he is local or foreigner. They are very unprofessional and Staffs are with full of attitude problems. Very very rude. There are few more shops located next to each other and all of them owned by the same owner and all of them are the same in general. I would rather pay more for a bank or find another money exchange place.

READ TO END FOR TIP!! This place is the real deal. Some people complain about unfriendly service, but I would say that is an invalid complaint for an exchange counter! Very professional, secure and amazing rates! TIP: If you exchange higher bank notes (e.g., 20s, 50s, 100s) they will give a better exchange rate than what is listed! I got a better rate for 50s (above market if you can believe it) than I did for my 20s.
Best money exchange place in colombo. I have been going here for the past 6 years. Service is fast, unless youre unlucky to visit at peak hours. I wish they had more branches, its a bit far to travel. Good value for money.
Bloody cheaters, My Mum asked me to call them asking for the aud dollar exchange rate a day earlier and they told it was 145rs per aud , but when my mum and sister went there ,they told the aud dollar value was only 142(and some cents) and then my mum told to them that she phoned up them and they told it was 145 And their reason was not convincing at all ,they were like “since you have Australian dollars in 20 notes the exchange rate is lower” This isn’t true at all they just wanted to scam my mum. But this money exchange was never like this before , this used be my family's ideal choice to exchange currencies, whenever we wanted to change currencies, but after this incident I feel betrayed and may seem to look for another exchange center.

The best Money Exchange in the Colombo Area. Rates are updated daily. Staff is quick, courteous and honest. Can get crowded at times, but that's only due to their exceptional service. This is the money exchange i would recommend.
