Travel With Toothless

I had a bad experience with my traveling agent when applying for thai visa. So please please go for a trusted travel agency when you are applying for visa. Thai visa requires a lot of documents and also you have to book online for visa appointment. It takes 5 working days for visa processing. Make sure you apply early so there won't be any delay. Also when you are going to embassy better to take a printed copy of your appointment.

A moment to think

Lot of bad reviews given to this place and I honestly don't understand why. People who read these things must be scared to death to go there alone and would run to travel agents when the process is so simple. Make the appointment. Download the checklist. Follow instructions. Provide what they request in the format the request. That means giving photocopies in A4 format as well as giving photos as per specifications. Some people seem to believe they can sumbit anything in any format and get visa and when they are turned back, they get upset. For example, the photo specifications says no spectacles/glasses and people seem to still get photos with them and obviously get turned away. Some times document hand-over has bit of a queue obviously because travel agents come with many passports as oppose to individuals. If every thing is in order, u will be called up first to make payment and then to get receipt which indicates when to collect passport. If every thing is in order, u can collect passport with VISA stamped on the said date. Process is smooth but controlled to avoid chaos. It is something we should get used to. Staff is not rude. They are just systematic and if you follow the process, they will no need to get frustrated.

You have to plan well in advance if you're planning to fly there which in my view is not worth it. So I gave up. Many documents, appointments, too much trouble and the rules seem very rigid, no urgent tourist Visa processing even for a fee, online system is not at all user-friendly. Might as well find some other country to visit.

No need to panic unnecessarily. Everything is smooth when you have the mentioned documents. Staffs are friendly too. Sometimes the place isn't cozy due to the travel agents.

If you strictly follow guideline, it's all smooth. But they don't understand your problem. All staffs just do their job. And they never answer any number mentioned. So don't bother calling.

Very nice staff. The lady who I spoke to regarding my visa was very helpful. Even the security officer was friendly. Not wasting time.
