This Temple established in 1918 by the Most Ven, Pelene Vajiranana Maha Nayaka Thero. This Temple is the best known Sri Lankan Buddhist temple throughout the world. Lot of renowned resident monks who spread the teaching of the Buddha worldwide from this place. This Temple's Dhamma school has more than 3,000 students. Siri Vajirarama Daham Pasala which has a proud record of over 90 years – 94 to be exact. Held every Sunday, the school has a teaching staff of 115. Parking space available.
