Great grounds. My daughter's school books this ground for sports meet heats each year. It has a separate area for put and discuss, with safety net. Well maintained grounds. Pavilion facilities, washroom, changing can be improved. There is a large canteen at the end of the grounds, or can cross the road to the Oxford canteen. Parking available around the university.
Well known name is colombo university ground. One of the biggest ground you can get in colombo area for events. To make bookings at this ground have to go here and there a lot. But still one of the coolest venue to do a corporate event. Since its in the heart of colombo very easy to access from everywhere.
This is the main sports ground for Colombo university students. Huge space available here. From morning till the evening and night lot of people come here for sporting activities.
