Worst service ever. The rascals on the front line will over charge you to get extra cash in their pockets. Never trust them always ask for why threat are charging. They will humiliate you as much as they can to prove a point. Not to mention they don’t accept debit or credit cards so they can steal your money for their personal uses. Also if the packages are unattended upon inspection there is a possibility that they might steal its contents behind your back. Word of advice: always remember the contents when you get a gift and recheck the contents before you leave the place. It’s corruption at its finest.

Most useful department to exports and importer
Poor customer service.They don't think about the customers.Very bad service. There are some guys that waste others time and make no work. We thought this is one of the best but this is the best WORST GOVERNMEMT PLACE THAT ANYONE SHOULD NOT VISIT. Robots like guys are running around with their bloody overgrown and excessive pride but they do nothing.The people of sri lanka pay taxes for feed this robots who don't have a heart.No man have humanity. ( I must say that not all of the guys are like I mentioned there. There are some men works with their heart and have good personality as a custom officer. Good luck for them. )

Very good service
I sent a used washing machine via cargo shipping by paying about 25,000 rs it’s a one was old and the appearance can also see it’s very old which I used the custom had placed a 38,000 thousand rupees to free the item ? It’s height and width length was 50cm*60cm*60cm for that size little and not brand new it’s used one anyone can see that it’s just for home purposes just a washing machine tho. Why was a such a tax for it ? Even it’s not a brand new or there isn’t 3,4 items same not a commercial cargo then why was such a tax ? I have to say only this “your children will pay for it and from your health you guys pay for it” every ones curse at you custom officers. Wish you all guys around those things get a fast healthy issue and wrap up for the rest of the life.
