Catholic shrine in heart of Pettah city, on weekdays parking is very difficult but for Sunday service parking can be found easily behind the church. Sunday services are at 7 am , 8 am , 9 am , 11 am , 12:10 pm , 5:15 pm and 6:30 pm Very peaceful house of god for a personal reflection.

One of the oldest and most historical church buildings exists in Colombo Archdiocese. 1950s Blessed Sacrament Congregation was handed over the church by Archbishop of Colombo. Since then the beautiful main altar had been changed into an artificial looking altar. I dont know why they renovate the old altar like this. Church has some very old statues and among them Our Lady of Snow's statue is very famous. Every year they celebrate the feast of Our Lady by taking that statue among the busy streets of Pettah. Church community is soo small and most of church comers are outsiders. Church has a flexible mass schedule and they dont take much time to finish the mass. Church is dedicated to St.Philip Neri. Yet they dont celebrate his feast in a grand scale. Church located near Pettah main road infront of Fort Railway Station. You can go any time in daytime to pray. Church is beautiful.
