Great place for short eats. The Mutton role is mesmerizing. But Prawn role is worst of all. Love the chicken role too.
Several years ago Fab was my favourite restaurant. But unfortunately it's not to now. Today I had a piece of cake(chocolate pyramid) from The Fab near Thimbirigasyaya junction and it was very dry. Not moist at all. It was the same with a sandwich I had from Battaramulla Fab several months ago. Please don't let ur quality drop. After these experiences I avoid Fab as much as possible now. Wish that u could bring the old quality back into these..
Food is tasty. I like the inside arrangements with the limited space.
Busy place but it's nice for a quick bite. The inside corner table is a bliss with a nice view of the road opposite with flowers and greenery. Food is OK, which is why I frequent quite a bit.
The Fab is a very well-known name in Colombo for a pastry shop. Not only pastries and buns, other short eat items as well as cakes and sweet items are yummy at Fab. The branch at Thimbirigasyaya is situated cozily in the corner of the start of Siripa Road. They have followed all safety guidelines and people can eat in at the moment. We had some shorties which were a bit spicy, (but then I find a lot of stuff spicy!) and had machine coffee. Employees were very courteous. It's a great place to have a chat and will away a rainy afternoon with a tea and a piece of cake.
Good service, good food.. I love their black forest cake and the ribbon cake.. Yummy yummy..
It is certainly not the good, quality food experience I used to enjoy in the past. The food tasted horrible, it was not warm and fresh. Quality has dropped tremendously. Quite disappointing.
