Terrible experience. It was extremely time consuming to arrange overseas shipping due to unprofessional incompetent staff. Also the shipment remained much longer in Sri Lanka than agreed on and was stored in warehouse without AC (without our knowledge or approval). Worst of all, once the shipment arrived at destination we were charged fees which were clearly the responsibility of Trico, according to the agreement we signed with them; this made the shipment double as expensive as originally planned !! with much time spent having to chase Trico staff. Do not bother shipping with Trico, it is not worth your time and money.

To maintain a smooth, uninterrupted and more efficient service Trico facilitates above service providers, in the typical way. When addressing the issues of them, even a poke in the eye of Trico authority won't be enough to get a proper solution.

A THIEVING company that blames its customers for its mistakes. Do not use this service unless you wish to have your belongings stolen. My parents moved back to Sri Lanka for a medical emergency & used them to fly some stuff back. They held up the boxes for 3 days in their warehouse when my parents were told the boxes had arrived on the same flight. When they then got the boxes the attendent unpacked everything in a rush and questioned my mother to identify whether anything was missing. Considering the fact that she was in stressful circumstances and her belongings were days late she could not have possibly been able to notice at once that certain items were missing. A few days later when she had had time to carefully go through everything she noticed that a number of BRAND NEW items including kitchen appliances, and glassware were missing. Trico were very hard to contact in the first instance and once they were reached they then proceeded to blame my parents for not noticing the missing items in their warehouse. This is not acceptable customer service. Not once did they show any understanding for the situation their customers were in nor the situation they put them in. Absolutely DISGRACEFUL. I recommend to all my friends and family who often ship back home to Colombo to avoid using their services.

Really poor service. They simply don't care as to what happens to your goods. Therefore you better deal with this company at your own risk.
