UPS Sri Lanka is huge racketeer. They intentionally detain goods and when inquired says it’s the customs. But when inquired from the custom they said it was all UPS (FITS) and the customs has nothing to do with it. The strategy of the UPS (FITS) is to detain goods for couple of weeks and charge extra for handling and storage. Its best never use this service, since they are a crooked organization. And all their 5 star ratings are fake.

Spent 500 for fast shipping and FITS Express delayed the shipment in Sri Lanka over 2 weeks. What's the point of paying for fast shipping. Next time onwards I'll use DHL, John Keels does a better job locally than FITS.

Believe it is time UPS say good bye to their franchise in Sri Lanka. Failing continuously to deliver shipments on time while all other leading international couriers keep their promises even during the pandemic. Absolute bizarre flight routes and unexplainable and unbelievable delays. They do not want us to see the history of transits because it is crazy

UPS SL failed to provide adequate information on the process of customs clearance furthermore accepting the documents I provided them for customer clearance without checking them properly later informing me that there were more documents that they needed. On top of that calling any of the provided customer care hotlines is quite pointless considering the fact that no one picks up the phone. In addition i have not yet received my package as of yet but UPS SL has updated the website to say that my package has been delivered to my residence. Overall not impressed at all.

This is the worst company to use ship items to Sri Lanka. I send a package from abroad . It reach SL within 2 days and then for clearance there is virtually no support from the company. We had to contact the UPS abroad to contact SL customs. UPS agent (fitexpress) in SL do not respond or have no answer to any question. Very poor service. Never send personal packages to SL with UPS. Use DHL or Fedex.
