Villa Capers offers the perfect combination of privacy, clean air, and comfort! They have a beautiful courtyard both on the lower and upper flats in addition to a personal backyard terrace on the ground floor. The staff are super supportive in organizing trips, taxis or any transfers.

Holey smokes this place is beautiful! The home is even more beautiful in person, I wish I had known that this was a luxury upscale type of place. Breakfast was simple and filling, so I loved it. When I come back to Sri Lanka Ill book a long weekend to enjoy the indoor pool and surrounding area better.

Check-in was fine after airport collection from host and food was good even though we had to leave for the early train to Kandy the host provided some things to eat. Host was brilliant, Room was very good with large bed and nice pool. There was a nice sunbathing area and some gym gear to work out. Just a short tuk fuk from city and 20mins from train station.

Water was leaking from the roof of the toilet constantly and it was falling on my head when I was using the sink which made me uncomfortable, and inside the room water was leaking from two more places of the roof when it started to rain outside, so we had to put mats on the floor. Some of the walls were discoloured due to water damage. The mechanism to lift the bamboo blinds of the windows were broken so I had no way of opening the windows. It would be nice to have a tv in the room and a water heater with some coffee and tea or else a intercom to get room service. Plus a mosquito vaporizer would come handy too. I would say the place doesn't look that luxurious as it shows in the photos. The Place has great potential, they should consider refurbishing and fixing the rooms. Wifi was excellent, Breakfast was average, no other options were given (coffee, passion fruit cordial, toast bread, jam, butter and omelette)

The property is a converted Villa... with a property care taker and a few staff. Missing the minimum basic features like a intercom to reach the reception when in need, a table and chair in the room, a wardrobe, bed switches. You would also be left with broken fan, lights and torn linens in the room. To add you could be accompanied with unused wooden windows & partitions in your room. Not too sure how that’s a value add !!. Wouldn’t recommend or stop by here again. Two star is only for the overall ambience and location of the property.
