This is my first local Home Stay experience and I'm so glad that I selected this nice and comfortable room in Dambulla. Place, room and bathroom were exactly as advertised and reviewed by other guests. The host was very professional from the time I made the inquiry and up to booking confirmation. The room was ready when I arrived and check-in was very smooth and simple. The breakfast was a feast with a wide variety of dishes including fresh fruits for dessert. I'll definitely recommend this place specially for foreign travellers and equally for local people looking for convenient, comfortable and simple home stay experience for reasonable rate. Keep up the good work and definitely I'll be staying here in my next stay in Dambulla.

What an amazing family and experience. We stayed with Sam and his family during our time in Dambulla, in the hope to get to feel for the culture that the beautiful country has to offer. This accomodation did exactly that. A very comfortable room with fan, airconditioning, mosquito tent and private bathroom. Breakfast was also included and was extremely tasty and plentiful. We also opted to eat dinner here, as it eas a bit further our from dambulla (by foot, but a short enough tuk tuk that sam would happily arrange). We also had tbe pleasure of celebrating new years with them, which theh kindly extended to my wife and I, which was a once in a lifetime experience, thank you to sam and the family. We were offered a pick up service from the airport (which cost the same as a taxi from the airport - 10,000 rupee), drive and wait at Sigiriya for 2,000 rupee and a drive to Kandy and help with buying train tickets for 6,000 rupee.
Gorgeous breakfast, we recommended to buy a dinner. Rooms are clean, personel are helpful. 10/10
I recommend everyone who is visiting Dambulla to stay here. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The family is very friendly and receives guests warmly. We we're served a papaya juice on arrival and an incredibly good breakfast is included. Also try the curry, it is the best I had so far. Very tasty, big variety and fresh fruit included. Further you get lots of information about the area, transportation, things to do and so on...
Aio homestay.this is the nice experience last night.we selected comptable an amazing place in dambulla.it had clear and beautiful rooms ,bathrooms & parcking..finally thnzzzz very much dambulla aio home stay.

Nice and clean room. Especially for the price. Good breakfast, with Sri Lankian dishes. You can order a good dinner. Dambulla isn't very interesting.
One of the best hosts we've had, very attentive with a cold smoothie waiting upon arrival! shared lots of travel advice, Cave Temples (roughly 5 mins away!). We were planning on getting an early bus to Sigiriya and our host prepared our breakfast for 6.30 before dropping us off at the bus stop... people were not lying, the biggest breakfast feast we've seen and very tasty which helped set us up for the climb ahead. the facilities are top class but very clean and with only 3 or so rooms it felt very secluded and very magical. we sat on the patio in the evening and all we could hear were birds around us and other animals. Dambulla is another busy strip but set back 5 or so minutes up a path it feels very relaxing and isolated! LOVED our stay
