Very good place to start your surfing adventure. It's better to take lessons in the morning, because there are not so many people in the water.
We had done surf lessons in other countries with very limited success. However, after two days of lessons with Kasun and the rest of the Hiri Surf Crew, we felt confident enough to paddle out on our own in search of the big waves! Since our lessons with Hiri Surf, we have a newfound passion for surfing and count down the hours until we can get back in the water again! Kasun is an incredible teacher. He's really good at watching your technique and giving tips. He will also gauge your progression and slowly give you less and less help until before you know it you're catching waves all on your own! Beyond the technical advice, the guys at Hiri Surf keep things light and fun. When Sam was feeling frustrated from wiping out (which he did a lot at first) they always had a joke on hand to lighten the mood and cheer him up. Its definitely easier to catch waves when you're in a good mood! Surfing has gone from something that we've always wanted to learn, to something that we will love and cherish for the rest of our lives. That's all thanks to Hiri Surf School. This is without a doubt the best surf school on Hiri Beach and we highly recommend doing lessons with them!

Perfect for learning the first steps of surfing, Kasun and his guys really doing a great job. After the second hour i could stand the whole little wave, highly recommend this surf school :) in the 3rd day my girl lost his glasses and kasun helped us to find it in the water, thanks for that kasun, see u next time
Very chill people, nice and helpful, we learned a lot. We signed up for a 1h30 lesson and ended up spending 3h in the water, because they made up for the waves not being great
