While the view from the balcony of our room was extraordinary, the room itself was quite old, furniture quite heavy and too big for this small room. There was only ONE power outlet in the whole room next to the sink. The bathroom was very dark and not what we had expected from the pictures we had seen when booked. The bed linen have a dark green and dark red colour which always makes me wonder what the host has to hide - why not use white?! - and have a mustiness to them. But the host is very friendly and helpful, the location of the accommodation is good and the breakfast homemade and brought up to your room every morning. They accept credit cards with a 3% surcharge.

Amazing spot to stay with great views of the area. Can be hard for drivers to enter but there is a back door near the top of the mountain. Short 10 min walk on a slight incline to center town. Plus they serve an amazing breakfast in bed!

Breathtaking view from your balcony to the Ella Rock. Staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and being served to tour balcony as well. 5 minute walk to the centre of Ella.
Friendly staff, fantastic view, and an excellent shower! The accommodation is near a major road and the sound of trucks and tuk tuks can be pretty loud in the early morning.
A nice experience of living over the edge of valley. A mountain full of Sky-high tall trees, a dense forest, water rushing through the trench of valley, tea fields across and a train moving over the mountain through clouds is the view from the extension of gallery of the rooms over the valley. Worth to stay. But the problem is dinner. Not that all available in the menu-card can be ordered. They provide you only few options and as Ella closes early, you have to pick the menu from whatever is made available for you. But the stay is worth for the scene from the balcony ! Rather going to town and enjoying food and liquor at the bar is advisable. Breakfast served in the hotel is nice! Service was quick! I will prefer to stay here in future if I arrive to Ella again.
This hotel is in a great location, maximum 10 minute walk to Ella's main strip. We stayed in the suite with mountain view. It had all of your basic necessities, the most amazing outlook and we had plenty of wildlife encounters on the verandah. The room has high ceilings with floor to ceiling glass windows out on to the verandah so you can take in the view whether your inside or outside. Inside there are comfortable lounge chairs and outside you have the option of deck chairs, bean bags or a table to sit at. The staff here are very friendly and super helpful, including being happy to wash some of our clothes. They bring breakfast to your room and check with you every day what time you would like the breakfast for the next morning. After seeing out the rest of Ella and the accommodation options that are around, I'm really glad we stayed here. While this isn't a 5 star style accommodation, the rooms are neat and tidy and the view is just that incredible to wake up to every morning that it was worth every cent!
The best place to stay in Ella! amazing location 5 min walk from the main street. Beautiful clean rooms with insane views on to Ella Rock! Breakfast on your balcony each morning! HEAVEN
