I am amazed at the guy that purports Albert asks what to write that is a nonsense. he is bruisingly honest in his reports as a gem dealer and high end designer jewellery producer I value his expertise greatly. When a stone is not what it appears he tells you AND it goes on his report.
The best place to get your gem tested. If I want my gem to be tested, I would only prefer FGL not other labs as FGL is so genuine on what they write on the report not what customer wants. Also it’s not only about getting gems tested, when it comes to learn facts and concepts in gemology it’s the best recommended place as well. I highly recommend this Lab for anyone who is looking for genuine report. As a customer who is willing to buy genuine gemstones, should always prefer FGL as their gem report. This is what I feel. There are so many labs in Sri Lanka most of them do their jobs well, but sometimes certain labs try to listen to what customer wanted to state on the certification for example on color grading and Heat indications on gem they requests to modify as to what they need but not with FGL. Mr. Albert is super genuine when issuing reports. He does not modify as per customer needs rather issues what he diagnose it. Yes... It is from me and I will always prefer FGL as my gem report provider for both my customers and my self when making a purchase from local market as a gem dealer. Keep up the good work FGL.

I'm a Graduate Gemologist from Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and I recommend this laboratory. Compared to other labs in Sri Lanka this is one of the best gem testing labs. Obviously as GIA G.G I would only recommend a GIA lab, but there is no GIA lab in Sri Lanka. So this lab is the next best place to get your gemstones tested. The gemologist are French nationalist and they are very strict & highly experienced when it comes to issuing gemstone identification reports. You cannot request and write what you want on the certificate.
