Beautiful hotel friendly staff. We loved this hotel for its old school charm. Our room was a duplex room and was very comfortable with great little touches. Breakfast was delicious and the pastries were so fresh and delicious. Unfortunately didn't get to use the pool but it was a good size and a place to relax by. Our lovely four poster bed was so comfy with a lovely mosquito net around it and during turn down we were even left some night face cream. Would definitely stay here again and it's walking distance to great little shops and restaurants within the fort. The leaving gift of a pot of tea was such a lovely gesture. Thank you Galle Fort Hotel.

My husband surprised me with a night in Galle for our wedding anniversary. Since we live in Sri Lanka, Galle is one of our favourite destinations. This hotel delivers all one would expect and hope for and more... Incredible staff, magnificent old building, charming and stylish, comfortable yet sophisticated and ideally located in Galle Fort. Breakfast and lunch was excellent and there were little extras too, like a free cocktail of our choice each for our anniversary and a little jar of fabulous night cream on my pillow. If there's availability and your pocket affords it then this is a no-brainer stay!
We spent three nights at the Galle Fort Hotel and it was an excellent experience. The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast delicious, and the service above all expectations. The staff made sure that we do really enjoy our stay at the hotel. Thank you!
Probably 1 of the most interesting hotels Ibhave visited. The history of this place is breathing out of each and every corner. The colonial Dutch style is very recognizable. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. Staff is very attentive. The pool and pool area are a treasure.
Food was great, beautiful presentations. Service was dragging & slow. Lower staff sees.working so hard & too much managers there didn't see any help for service or checking guests satisfaction. All guests don't get the courses at once. But nice location & spacious place comparing to many fort hotels
