VTA Galle talbet town is located in middle of Galle town. They have good lectures and good for ICT vocational education. In trade of ICT they have good resources. But classroom must be updated with air conditioning. Currently air conditioning are not working here. It make uncomfortable situations to students. But reach is very easy to this centre. It is only 3 to 5 minutes from Galle main bus station by foot. ICT lab has good computer facilities also Network and hardware batches also having good resources.

The Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka(VTA) was established on 16th August 1995 under the Act No.12 of 1995.It was a concept of His Excellency the Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa when he was the Hon. Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training. The VTA was established with the intent of skills for employment Manpower Division-the training arm of Labor Department that was running Technical and Vocational Education and training programs in many parts of Sri Lanka, Was converted to the newly constitute Vocational Training Authority making vocational training more accessible to rural youth and depressed segments of the country.
