Rooms are comfortable, but foods were not delicious and can not be recommended. No wheelchair access and an elevator. Parking only for two vehicles.

Absolutely fantastic stay whilst here because of this hotel. The staff are phenomenal at attending to your needs and work diligently to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Several times I found Blue Whale went the extra mile. For instance, personally dropping us off at a location we were unsure how to get to without even charging us for the hassle saying it was no problem. Another occasion was when my foot had swollen up from a bite, and they not only suggested a remedy, but even provided it while checking with me if it had gotten better over the days. What really made this nice was that they did these deeds without an expectation of getting something back - a rare quality in this business. If anyone wants to truly experience Jaffna, this place will surely make it memorable. Thank you Hotel Blue Whale.

Although the features may be a bit limited (but surely adequate), the service and the dedication of the staff is definitely 5-star! They would go out of their way to accommodate guests' needs and always helpful.

Reception team is helpful,bed linen and towels were not fresh,stained and found hairs on the bed and towel,room floor was dirty,neighborhood was not very good either,around 2AM i was woken up by someone banging on the door or my room and when i started yelling he/she left by after saying something in local language,i was so scared and shorten my trip of plan from 3 nights in Jaffna to 1 night and checked out next morning.thanks for the receptionist once again

Not the very best conditioned rooms. They could have done some improvements i.e add an elevator (as Iwas in the 2nd floor and had to carry my own bags up those with no help) better tv connection, and the washroom. Also need ample parking space. The food was amazing and some classy reading material was available at the reception.
