Super nice little place to stay. Very lovingly built and furnished. The owners are very nice and create a very pleasant and calm atmosphere. The daily yoga is highly recommended. The breakfast is excellent and the coffee is outstanding.

Really nice accommodation, clean and comfy. Beautiful outdoor bathroom. We were there in the off season and it felt a little like that. Think it was be better in high season . Breakfast was good and great coffee. Communication with staff was a little tricky but again I think that would be better in high season and they were really nice.
Great place, wonderful staff and delicious breakfast and lunch! Very clean and close to the beach. Thea area is nice too, a bit away from the more busy Centre in Weligama. I had to go back because Jamu was so friendly. Highly recommend.
I had a great time. It was a very chilled atmosphere and vibe. The food was really good and it filled my appetite! I really recommend this place and I can’t wait to go there tomorrow again for a yoga session and chilled banana pancakes for breakfast!
The cafe and yoga house is tucked in an isolated corner near Midigama beach - no directional arrows as if meant for the adventurous. The staffs are friendly and attentive and the twice daily classes is very understanding of the energy levels of the practitioners or fitness levels of the participants. Although I've only attended Katarina's sessions, her energy, passion and love for Yoga is admirable. She provides options to her attendees and not meant to challenge them but meant to "deepen" their practice. Her Yin Yoga with Nidra sessions in the afternoon is very relaxing. Morning sessions is done near the cafe and the evening sessions at the rooftop. I purchased the 5 special classes (meant for 4 classes and gets one for free because of the price).
I just want to say what a pleasure to have stumbled upon Jamu . Was invited to have a cuppa here one day by friends. What a vibe. Awesome people to meet and exchange stories with. They have a board of their weekly yoga schedule in the cafe. Keep an eye for weekend "movie nights". On a clear nights you'd be lucky to be watching movie under the stars with amazing fireflies about. Such a great way to meet other travelers and alike. Powerhouse yoga and acrobat instructors Kamila and Stian. (haven't personally been to their official classes) but can recommend as my husband and I had an amazing experience with this activity by the beach at such random fun session with the instructors. Love the coffee, love the people. Definitely in the radar for future travel. Thank you staff!
Amazing space. I've spend there many mornings and afternoons drinking some coffee or kombucha and having some very nice food, while working and enjoying the vibe. One of my favorite spots in Weligama!
What a piece of paradise. What lovely people to welcome, stretch and caffinate us through the day. What meticulous attention to detail. What a tranquil bedroom for one to sleep in. What a unique bathroom for one to freshen-up in. What concrete. What flora and fauna. What a lush tropical hideaway. What a feeling... what a place!
