The Kandy cemetery is beautiful , serene and most beautifully maintained. The planting is gorgeous and the upkeep immaculate. The head gardener showed us round and is very proud of his work and so he should be . Greatest credit to him and the CWGC. I hope the relatives of those commemorated here feel some comfort in its beauty and how wonderfully it is cared for .I am so glad we visited Helene Jackson Dec 18

Kandy is one of the smaller but it really is an oasis amidst the mayhem of Kandy and it was a delight to talk to the caretaker !!! about the history of those laid to rest here and his work in maintaining their memory.
