First off it was the best nights sleep we had in all Sri Lanka! Beautiful clean rooms and comfortable beds. The owners are the nicest hosts you could wish for. We were even treated to a kareoke in the morning which was so fun! Thank you so much for a. Beautiful stay.

The most warm and welcoming hosts you could possible wish for! A truly beautiful experience! Exceptionally clean rooms throughout, with an abundance of wildlife literally at the foot of the balcony! And a fantastically comfy bed! An amazing stay! I would highly recommended to anyone especially if you prefer a little bit more peace and quiet and a more authentic stay!
Very spacious rooms. Even the living area was huge! Washrooms were new and clean! It was the best place around for a group of friends to hang out. Sound system and karaoke set up was a bonus! Plus a BBQ grill was available!!

If you are traveling around Sri Lanka on a bike then look no further. Rock View homestay has a sheltered private parking in case it rains. The room and bathroom were spotless but you get more than that. You get a balcony with a view, a living room (with speakers for karaoke nights if thats your thing) and a kitchen. Most importantly, the family that runs it are very welcoming and friendly. They will do everything they can so you have a comfortable stay. Oh and the sri lankan breakfast is DELICIOUS. I cant recommend this enough. You won't be disappointed. This homestay gives you a real immersion in the local life and a true authentic friction with the people.

Without doubt one of the favorite places that we stayed during our family trip in Christmas holidays 2018! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Sumith Kumara-Owner, he is extremely friendly and helpful during our stay at Rock View Home, Kundasale, Kandt. We had two great days at Rock View Apartment. The second day we did a village (Kundasale/Pallekelle) trekking which was guided by Sumith, we truly enjoyed walking the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The Apartment with A/C, Hot Water, Wifi, the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like "Home Stay" to us. My Brother in-law and his family who came all the way from Singapore this holiday was highly impressed about the service and the rates.
