one of the best lounge in terms of food spread and facilities, from dental hygiene to shower to sleeping sofas in the quiet zone. One of the worst lounge in terms of passenger etiquette, people just barge in the quiet sleeping zone and make it a fish market!

Cosy Serendib lounge and would rank possibly the best among the airline lounges in Colombo international airport. Decor and space is reasonable. It serves beverages, few options of hot food, sandwiches, snack, soft drink alcohol and so on. Lighting is poor somehow. Staff service is friendly and warm. Travellers can choose to sit down for a quick meal or drink or relax in the resting area. Clear glass window allows visitors to have a clear view of planes and runway. Good place to be before departing.
Being a SriLankan Airlines Business Class Lounge, the hospitality is simply great. The food choices could be a bit more better, but nothing bad. There are a few recliners in the quite area when you could sleep the whole night without any disturbance. Enjoyed my recent 8 hrs transit there without any issues. They also got a complimentary 15 min foot/head massage available - Don't miss it. Great views as well.
The Serendib Lounge at Bandaranaike International Airport is in direct need of an overhaul. In the month of July I visited this lounge twice. One was quite early in the morning for a 7:30 AM departure and the other for a post noon departure at 2:30 PM. The early morning departure was quite busy and I was very lucky to find a seat. For the post noon departure I arrived at about 11:00 AM thanks to my connection and the lounge wasn't as crowded. The lounge is more of a large room with mismatched couches and dining areas. The bar is a small area behind a pillar and the buffet while it offered excellent cuisine was a small spread area with all the dishes placed close to each other. The staff are a hit and miss. Some of them are simply outstanding and lives up to the reputation of Sri Lankan as the best carrier in the region. Others couldn't care less. I noticed that they have a spa within the lounge, however, at both times visiting passengers didn't seem to be intimated about the availability of the service. The lounge loses points from me from its lack of ambience. This is supposedly the best airline in its region and it doesn't convey a sense of elegance and class. The apron views are brilliant for avgeeks.
Reasonable business class lounge. Has nice fully reclining couches in a room with interesting blue lights (my guess is to make sleeping easier?). Has a bar and a paid massage room. Food is usually very good, particularly the lamb is very tender . Biggest gripe? Well srilankan is a oneworld member airline. If you are flysmiles (srilankan airlines miles program) gold member, you are a oneworld sapphire member, while a flysmiles platinum member is a oneworld emerald member. Now here's the joke . A flysmiles gold member is provided access to business class lounges by oneworld partners. However, a oneworld sapphire member of even a flysmiles gold member cannot use serendib lounge in Colombo, Sri Lanka if they aren't flying business class. They get access to the secluded and inferior serendiva lounge. In fact you can be flysmiles platinum and oneworld emerald but serendib lounge will remain off access to you. Unless you are flying business class on srilankan airlines. That does not make sense to me.
Great place to chill while waiting for the flight. Consists of comfortable seats, buffet meal, clean washrooms and a grand view.
Is really disappointing.. by far the most not fascinating business lounge I've been.. with such a high fare ticket, most of customers will expect something better... definitely need an upgrade!
A very good lounge with friendly and helpful staff. The quite area has got recliner chairs to have a good sleep. The spa inside offers you a free head/foot massage. A good buffet is offered too.
