My daughters and I had never surfed before and this was the perfect lesson for us. Everything was explained very thoroughly and we were up and surfing the waves much quicker than we thought we would! We came back for a second lesson and would highly recommend this surf school!

We met the owner on Hiriketiya Beach where we had 2 hour lesson for complete beginners with him. He explained us quickly all the most important basics and we practiced several times getting up to standing position on the beach and he also showed us some exerciseses for physical preparation and warm up. Then we went to the sea with his brother who was patiently pushing us to the waves and instructing when to paddle and when to stand up. We managed to stand up and surf some of the smaller waves so the overall experience was perfect and encouraged us to go try surfing more :) Everybody was sooo nice and friendly. - ca 30 min beach theory, 1.5 h in water.
We took a 1.5 hour beginner lesson here. It was a great experience and we loved our instructor. He was a very fun, friendly guy and gave us some good tips to surf our first waves!
Loved this surf school!!! The instructor, Saranga, had good English, great instructions and the whole 2 hour lesson was fun. He encouraged me and pushed me to do my best and I improved a lot because of it. Thank you!!
Great place for surf, really uncrowded beach feel like been the first guy to surf there. Thank Saranga to bring our surf club there. Cheers !
Saranga was incredibly helpful, friendly and fun. He picked us up from our accomodation and took us to a nearby beach that was quiet and great for beginners. He was really helpful with the tips and instructions and I stood up on the board much sooner than I expected to. We had a lot of fun and I would highly recommend! Holly (April 2019)
