I have recently moved to Kandy, infact to Sri Lanka. Medical facilities available has been one of the biggest concerns for me when I decided to move to Kandy. Last week I fell prey to terrible virus flu that was going around and my sister who is on short visit to SL. We both visited Binara Medical Centre and was seen by GP DR Kularathna. He was very kind and thoughtful and treated us very professionally. Staff and the nurses too were quite professional. Further to that day we had to visit the centre again for our blood tests and since our conditions have not improved and also my sister had other complications we were asked to see a Physician Dr Senthril Chandrasekaran upon advice of Dr Kularathna. My sister has auto immune conditions and few other complications and the specialist Dr was extremely knowledgeable of her condition and her meds on overseas,and put her on a treatment plan and advised her if no progress were made within two days, to come and see him without any charges. The Dr took considerable time to see my sister and taking her history in and making her feel important which he did with other patients as well am sure, considering the time they spent in the room whereas in SL most Specialist doctors not bother to spend more than 2-3 minutes to see a patient as their mind is on number of patients they can see within their visit to each medical centre not the wellbeing of the patient. I am so very impressed with this medical centre and the calibre of doctors and service they provide. My heartfelt gratitude to both the doctors, staff and to the management of Binara Medical Centre. again but no charge Binara medical centre GP I saw was DR Kularathna has been one of the greatest doctors who was so kind, knowledgeable DR I ha e been treated , Further to that I has DR Senthil Chandrasekaran upon DR wWimalarathna' s advice
