Great to see and hear from the locals about moonstone gems. Once we got there they greeted us and took us on the tour at the mine. Good explanation on the process of gem stone mining. It is a family run business and it was great to meet the owner. She showed us the gem shop. Good prices for the gems as well.

Enjoyed the moonstone mine tour and demonstrations, purchased small stud earrings but they were overpriced. Would recommend, but suggest you haggle if you buy.
Great little mine 10 minutes from the beach with a shop where you can negotiate good deals on moonstone jewelry.
I think the shop prices are fair. You can see the mine etc. But the guy showing how they mine it and wash the mud to get the stones is kind of begging for money at the end. I don't want to encourage this behavior even if I feel sorry for him.
Not much to see. 5 min tour with rude tour guide with bad breath force selling overpriced gems and cinnamon.
