I would recommend this place for self driving vehicles.Rented a KDH and completed the journey without a problem.Good customer service. Would definitely go for next time.

Easy hassle free vehicle renting service.
Two days after having booked a car with NVLS Tours, I went to pick it up after a 4h journey across the country. Once there, I was told that the car I had booked was not available (we were in touch the whole time on Whatsapp, they could have told us before we got there). Apparently that car's lease had been extended by the previous renter the night before, although I had made the booking two nights before. However, I was offered another car, 13 years older, at an extra cost, although it was their fault they didn't have the right car. NVLS TOURS said that I should have paid an advance booking, although when I asked them on the day of the booking, they said everything was to be paid upon pickup. After the publishing of this review, I was threathened with legal action by the company if I didn’t remove it, because in their view, I haven’t used their services and they DID offer me another car.
Terrible place. Instead of the reserved car the wanted to give us a really old model for a higher price than agreed, without prior notice. Felt like a scam. Don't go there! Edit: There is a reply now from the owner, stating that we never used their service. That is true, since we arrived at their office in a hard-to-find back-alley only to be informed that the car we reserved was not available and that we could get a much older and poorly kept model for a higher price without any prior warning. We decided to go elsewhere then. After posting this review the first time, they also tried to intimidate us to retract the review by threatening legal measures that would prevent us from leaving Sri-Lanka. All in all I stand with my previous statement: Stay away!
Rented a car in Dec 17 but faced issues. The staff was friendly enough but they arrived at air port about 40 minutes late. The condition of the rented car was extremely poor. Mentioned this but no action was taken. Paid an advance for Jan 18 for a different car but car not delivered as of 2nd Jan.My personal experience was not a good one sadly.
