A safe place to spend time with family and friends. Parking for a car is Rs.50. clean sandy beach. A small boat ride for Rs.600 made the kids happy.

Not at all what I expected... crowded, not so good of a beach, no wheelchair access, no cops around, local thugs running the show (food stalls, boat rides, parking, etc)

Eye catching place which is situated suberb of Colombo. You can have street foods,joyful boat ride, play beach volleyball and many many more activities. As well as you can witnessed the ruined engine of sinked old ship.

We were there early in the morning around sunrise to avoid the crowd. It was a lovely place. Kids enjoyed a lot. There are places for people to change clothes, food stallls were not open since it was early. Overall good experience.

Good place. Very clean comparatively to other places. Just a lot of distractions from adults and children asking for money and selling small items.. We are more than happy to help them. But when they constantly annoy you it ruins our moods.
