The nuwaraeliya city view is the best thing in this cottage. Reasonable price is the other thing.Make sure to book the family room,they have the best view.10 minutes walk to the city.Recommended, people who need to explore nuwaraeliya not to experience star facilities.No satellite tv's,no speed dial telephones,welcome drinks or hot tea. But the location is excellent.
One of the best locations in Nuwaraeliya. Rooms are really nice and I love this place a lot. Staff were very attentive. You can have a super view of Nuwaraeliya from your room. Very close to the center and can reach easily. Gonna recommend this place to everyone and gonna be back soon.
Located at the top of the village of Nuwara Eliya. Charming wooden houses. Nice landlady. The bathroom of the houses without screens. Cold inside (March)
This cottage is located in an isolated and somewhat rustic area surrounded by local homes and agriculture. It’s beautiful and authentic but a bit hard to find in the dark. The actual cottage is quite dirty and dingy with no breakfast included in the room cost (extra fee). In addition their “Mountain View” rooms and “City View” rooms are not any different and the owner indicated as much. So don’t pay extra for the former as we did. All the cottage rooms face the same direction. Also the size of the rooms listed aren’t what’s actually available on the ground. If this place were more clean and the walls and carpets were in much better shape I would give this place four stars (not five because of the lack of good service and professionalism). Also be aware that no credit card machine is available. Have cash ready.
