This place is located not far from the city center. The access road is difficult to find and is not in good condition especially if you are driving a car. For a SUV it's a manageable road. Luckily the blind ending road is not a long one. Carpark is adequate only for one or two vehicles. The Colonial building is attractive from outside. However, the interior is dated and needs a full overhaul including all rooms and bathrooms.

It is a old colonial house and the owner is extremely interesting and welcoming. He pick us up from the station free of charge and help us to plan activities during our stay. Even took time to chat with us around a cup of tea. The breakfast was fabulous and homemade (need to get the recipe of the potatoes)

The host was very welcoming. Cute little English cottage with a beautiful garden. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Original bathrooms and antique furniture give the place an old world charm. Host packed us up a breakfast to go when we did the Horton plains hike (which I highly recommend). The place is ideally situated between the lake and town. The host also gave us a good recommendation for dinner and organised activities and train station transfers. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

We lived in the month of November. It was pleasant stay! Owner is really humble. It is an old British house, preserved British Legacy. There are 70 such bungalows around Nuwara Eliya. It is amidst hills and tea fields. There is good and maintained british kind-a-garden. Wooden furniture and antiques from the past are well preserved ans polished. Fire place was lit in the night! And made warmth while temperature outside was 10 to 12 Degree Celsius. The breakfast was delicious and pretty homely! Although reaching to the place is not so easy. But owner arrange to take you through his van. And living here is worth experiencing historical British colonization!

A pleasant stay overall in a great location. I would like to suggest this property would be better suited to someone who is looking purely for a Bed and Breakfast rather than a homestay experience. The guest room was fine, however bathroom was very basic where the door didn’t properly close and the lock was broken. Our host was nice but we would have liked some better communication during our stay. Simple things like telling us what we are being served for breakfast rather than just putting plates down, and asking how our sleep was would not go astray. Some more forthcoming information about the surrounding area would have been great also. Dinner was not offered as other reviewers have mentioned so you may need to plan for this.

An old colonial house close to the centre. The room is very nice, the bathroom simple but with hot water. The beds are excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpfull and arranged for our visit to World's End
