We had a great time at The Seven Oaks a cozy, quiet house with a beautiful garden. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The house was equipped with everything you need and is conveniently located in the center of town. Seong is a great host and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely recommend to stay here.
A nice place to rent, All basic amenities with a luxury touch. A nice fire place to keep the cold off, fully equipped kitchen with cutlery for a large family. Nice sanitation with hot water. A beautiful porch and a garden with seats. Enough entertainment to keep boredom away, cable TV 24 hrs wifi and board games. Clean sheets, towels and housekeeping, won't have you searching for anything. Housekeeper speaks broken English so you won't have any communication problems. Only thing is the access from the main road, also get Google location to help you locate it, especially if you are reaching late, when dark. Proximity to restaurants and stores is an added benefit. Definitely recommend it
Bungalow looks bigger than the photos.Spacious Garden and parking spots for two cars. Don't forget to ask Sanjaya for his famous tea. We will definitely be back!
The Seven Oaks Bungalow is the is one of the best getaway spots in Nuwara Eliya (NE) that I've been to. Located in the heart of town and formerly the old Post Master's residence the Seven Oaks Bunglow is spacious, warm, clean and has a beautiful garden. I stayed there with a couple of friends and have to say it was an awesome experience. The owner of the Bunglow, Seong and his Caretaker Sanjaya are super helpful in recommending places to eat and visit while in NE and Seong even suggested great vacation spots for us to visit outside of NE as well! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants the ammenities of hotel but the privacy only a house can give. PS. I recommend making use of their BBQ facilities to truly have a wonderful NE experience!
Best place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. The location is amazing cause it's right in the city and you will have access to all the restaurants and bars Nuwara Eliya has to offer. Ur in the city but doesnt look or feel like it which is pretty neat The bungalow it self is super cosy and has refreshing feel to the decor. The amenities that are provided is a big plus point in my opinion. huge garden space for practically anything. We even played a small game of football. The bathrooms are super CLEAN and bedrooms are so worth it. That mattress wanted to steal it!!! The Service by the caretaker is so good, anything we needed he got for us. He was so friendly and suggested places to visit. A BBQ in the night is the best way to end the day, and a cup of Nuwara Eliya local milk tea is an amazing way to start the next. I felt like I was at a boutique hotel with a home feel. I would definitely recommend this place and for sure will be visiting that little England kinda feeling place again. The Seven Oaks Bungalow is the way to go. 5* out of 5
Stayed overnight with family. Excellent place. Approach road narrow, okay only for a small car.
Wenn wir wieder in den Sri Lanka fahren, dann wieder dieses Haus :-) Der Haus war richtig Top! Eine super Lage, wo man die Ruhe genießen kann. Der Haus war sehr sauber, an Ausstattung war alles vorhanden was man brauchte. Für das was wir wollten war es das richtige.
