A nice railway station situated at Kandy Colombo railway road.

Beautiful and well maintained railway station. There is a national railway museum near by. Near by important locations are Capton Dawsons memorial, Gadaladeniya Buddhist temple, kadugannawa and related locations.

Pilimathalawa Town name is famous 'cos this railway station.well maintained and there is good staff. It has two flatforms and located Kandy Colombo railway line among Peradeniya and Kadugannawa railway stations. There is avetry facilities but no canteen or food court, it must included.

Small station. Express trains stop here. Intercity trains doesn't stop here. You can buy normal 2nd and 3rd class tickets. But you can't do any reservations from here. Service level of the staff is in average level. Please find the time table as at 16th Dec 2019.
