Quiet location and comfortable room. Garden is a peaceful place to relax even on a hot day. Good Sri Lankan food grown and prepared locally. The rice served here is grown in the field adjacent to Ceyted cottage. Bed long and soft, nice pillows and sheets. Only small dry goods shop nearby so bring your supplies with you. Best to eat in as it is 7 km to the town. We stayed two nights and would stay again. Highly recommend.

Best placed we stayed at in Sri Lanka. We visited in January 2020. It truely was the highlight of our 3 week Sri Lankan trip. If you are looking for a traditional Sri Lanka village unaffected by western tourists this is your place.

This is a lovely cottage located in a paddy field close to Parakkrama samudraya and rapidly developing city of Polonnaruwa. The view from the tree house can catch lots of eagles and peacocks while enjoying an evening tea. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Entire premises can be booked for a decent price which ensures privacy and safety. Its really worth for the money you spend. ( The profit of this place goes to a project that helps school children in need in Polonnaruwa area). Special thanks to our host Mr. Malinda who is a very dedicated and genorous person who made our stay extra special.
