One of the best surfing school in Arugambay. They provide surf lessons with good surfing instructor. They will take you to good surf-spot to teach you (wisky point, pottuvil point , peanuts farm, elephant rock, Panama point etc..) You can rent surfboard with different size and style, surfboard repairing and buying and selling also they do. Reasonable price highly recommended

Definitely recomend this surf school! Ibu is amazing and the way he do business is just sharing his experience and making peopole happy ! Everytime when we needed something we were just coming back & he was always ready to help us! Surfboards & equipment in very good conditions! We were there for long time and we checked all places & he had the best quality boards and service! First we were renting a many different surf boards with no issues & end up buying one from his shop. He explain us a lot about the surfboard and advise which one to buy even if there were from a different shops. Then came back many times to do repairs for reasonable price. He is a master of fixing so if You want to keep Your board in good condition go to him! Thank You for care & time! You made our stay in Abay
Had a great lesson here with my gf. We had one instructor only for us two what helped a lot on our very first lesson. It was 3000 per person. On the way back he asked us if we'd prefer to cross the lagoon by boat (what would have cost extra) or to climb over the rocks nearby. Thank you very much!
I spent 5 days in Arugam Bay and had 3 surf lessons with Nilam. It was my first time surfing and I learned so much with him to be able at the end to take some nice waves and stand up on it. I had lots of fun learning surf with him. He makes you more and more confident with waves and always smiling and motivating. I highly recommend this surf school in Arugam.
I came here for a surfing lesson and asked the price the night before which was 3000 for a single person. I agreed to it went in the morning for a lesson. The tuk tuk drive and instructor were reliable and did their part properly. I would give them 4 stars if the price didn't rise to 3200 when it came to paying. I am aware this isn't a significant difference but it is not the price we agreed upon. When I pointed that out to the rental guy the tuk tuk driver came and insisted it was always 3200 implying where the additional 200 went. Ask always for a written confirmation here.
Je suis venue à Arugam bay pour m'améliorer en surf et je suis contente d'avoir choisi Banana surf school! Profs avec une vraie certification (ce qui est rare ici) du bon materiel et surtout très à l'écoute et des conseils pour progresser ! J'avais surfé un peu avant mais en trois leçons je me suis déjà beaucoup améliorée. On a testé différents spots et planches. Bon rapport qualité prix, prof vraiment investi avec des leçons d'1h30!
