Elephants from a near by elephant orphanage are brought here for daily bathing ritual. The love between human and elephants can be seen here in abundance. Excellent opportunity to take photos of these giants.

Watching bathing elephants is a fantastic view. Apparently there are 60 animals in this shelter and they have all been rescued. Some were chained (maybe 2-3) so I was reading about the reasons and these are the more aggressive/ misbehaving ones, mainly males. The other elephants are walking freely and enjoying their baths.
it was so nice to see see playful elephants are bathing in the river. But the challenge is to find the correct spot.
I had a great time watching the elephants in September 2019. ️
