If you are spending a night in Sigiriya, you will not find big hotels in the are and will most likely rent a home stay. The family that owns the little lodge is extremely friendly and attentive. They have a pretty, well groomed garden, that adds a nice touch. The Nice View Lodge was wonderful, new rooms with a hotel feel, located within the perfect distance to the Lion Rock. They provided a big breakfast with fresh fruit, omelette, bread, tea, butter etc. We loved our stay at the Nice View Lodge and would recommend it to everyone!
A beautiful and relaxing stay! The view from the villa is absolutely gorgeous! The villa itself has a large garden that has been nicely maintained!. Loved everything about it, and the best part was hospitality we got from the owners, who live behind the villa. They made us feel at home, giving us all the comfort! Definitely recommending it to anyone who wants to have a relaxing and calm stay in Sigiriya!
Amazing.... Newly built and couple looking after this place are just awesome in providing every service. This lodge will give tough to any 4 star hotels in country. Just be here for amazing jungle stay experience.... Worth every penny and very cheap...
We stayed as a group for two night and absaloutley loved it. Really nice room in a beautiful quiet location. The breakfast was great and we also had dinner here both nights. The home made rice and curry was delicious.

Best stay in sri lanka! The owner took us with his tuk tuk through Sigiriya! Loved it! The breakfast and diner is really yummy! Nice and quiet stay with a lovely and super clean room! We stayed 3 nights! Wishing the owners the best! Kind regards, Allan&Joy (Belgium)
