Best homestay ever. Close to the main road, but around 30 metres away from it is Dammic’s house, where you will find one air conditioned room with two beds (double and single). Everything is very clean, wi-fi works properly and you are a stone’s throw away from the Lion Rock. Let Dammic taxi you around in his Tuk Tuk during you stay in Sigiriya (ask to see the local temple, where Dammic and the other villagers volunteer and where every 7th of the month he brings food for the monks), he will be more than happy to oblige and will chip in a story or two about what you are seeing - Pitt his English is not just a little bit better, I’m sure I could have learnt a lot more from him! In the evening cool off on the porch while you wait for his wife’s curry. Honestly if you are staying here do not bother going to restaurants, this was the best curry I have had on the island and the portions were enormous (look at the pictures, these were all for one person). Nothing really more to add, this place was clean, friendly, quiet and everyone was very very friendly - top pick for Sigiriya!!
Amazing place, amazing family, the best place in all Sri Lanka! Anu and Asanthi are so sweet, they cook delicious and their home is lovely. You feel like in family, 200% recommended!!!! Thanks for everything!

Vänliga värdar. Kunde köra oss till önskade ställen och föreslog också bra lösningar för vandring. God mat och rikligt, även jättegod middag. Rent, snyggt, och fräscht. Rymligt rum med högt i tak. Kan rekommenderas varmt.
Просто лучшее место. Отличный хозяин. Очень очень много вкусной еды на завтрак и ужин.
