i was there for a few days, januka is friendly and very helpful! his mothere is cooning good food for a very little additional charge. the hostel is very clean and in the common room you have fast internet. just be sure that you bring enough warm clothes to sleep for the night, this area is very cold in the nighttime. the view from there is very nice (see my picture) and the location is easy, the owner helps you out with his threewheel or you can take the bus for 15 rupees or another threewheel if you want to go go out.

Crystal clear air, relaxing silence and the peace what surrounding this place is breathtaking. You wake up for a song of birds and you go to sleep for a concert of frogs. Have a tea on the balcony, watch the sunset above the tea plantations; I can't imagine a better place to power up!

Very interesting, historic hotel This was a great hotel to visit! Nuwara Eliya is a little gem in the middle of Sri Lanka and the Grand Hotel is great to experience! It's like you're entering a different world! The rooms and furniture are in keeping with the rest of the hotel (i.e. quite old and colonial style) but are spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed afternoon on the hotel terrace which was a nice treat! Dinner was also lovely - there are a number of dining options to chose from in the hotel. We were provided with a tasty packed breakfast as were setting out very early the next day. There are also plenty of tea plantations and tea factories nearby. Januka and few staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Crystal castle is great to visit if you're looking for something a little bit different during your stay in Sri Lanka!
Very beautiful place
It’s quite easy to get there,only 5 min by tutu.The environment is also cool with garden.you can enjoy the best sunset at the balcony.The meals he offered were also yummy. I do have a good time there

This is a wonderful guest house located near nanu oya railway station. The location is very beautiful. All the major attractions of the hill station are nearby. Januka and his family are wonderful hosts as well. You will definitely enjoy your stay at this place.
