Honestly the best hostel i have stayed in considering the price and location. Very well organised and clean. Friendly staff who are happy to help. Also good food served there as well.

Awesome place, for a great time in Arugam Bay. Everything is very clean and it's operated professionally. The coffee is fantastic, real Italian delicious coffee. The stuff take care about all guests and make sure that everyone has a great time. The maximum amount of beds in the dormitory is only 4. I can highly recommend this place.
Facilities super clean but super strict when it came to having friends visit. No toilet paper as well, ever. Good location though.
Absolute awesome hostel. Everything is super clean and well maintained. The food and coffee is really good as well. But the owners make this hostel extraordinary. They are always their to help and have so many interesting stories to tell. Probably the best value for money in Arugam. Highly recommended
I loved staying at the Long Hostel. It is super clean and the stuff is more than wonderful. They are always up for a joke and trying their best to make you feel welcome. The hostel is just a few walking minutes from the main and baby surfpoint. There‘s tones of good restaurants, cafés, bars and shops close by. But you can get good coffee at the hostel too! I would always stay here again (and I actually did throughout my trip!). Thank you!
The best hostel I've ever been in Sri Lanka. I can recommend for people who want private - air-conditioned - rooms with attached bathroom, hot water shower and also to backpackers. The dorms are very exceptional, the lockers are huge and the vibes there are amazing. The 4-bed-dorms are also air-conditioned and have a separate bathroom. Breakfast and dinner are so delicious. Cannot be better!
Favourite hostel in Sri Lanka. Most others on the island are rubbish but this one would hold its own anywhere in the world. Harold, his wife and team are the most friendly and accommodating owners. Hostel is only 1 year old and looks immaculate. Clean, safe, good food, well located for beach and amenities. Couldn't recommend it high enough. Owners dog will definitely try to hump your leg and the bum guns are very powerful. This may just make your stay even better though. Depends what floats your boat.
The long hostel is simply the best in arugam bay. I never had such clean rooms in a hostel before and the stuff is simply amazing. The hostel is runner by a really lovely german/ Sri Lankan couple which try to combine the best of both attitudes. There is help whenever you need it and manel and Harald just try to give you the best time possible. If you want to see anything else then arugam bay in Sri Lanka do yourself a favor and start with that first because you won’t leave the place as soon as you checked in. Everyone I met decided to stay longer not only because of arugam bay but also because of the long hostel. There is really nothing I could say which made my stay there not perfect.
