We had a great stay at Chill House Safari Resort. Rooms were basic and clean, good value for the price. Hashan, the owner, also was our safari guide and we couldn't be happier. With his expert knowledge he managed to keep as away from most other jeeps in the park and still see everything Udawalawe has to offer including around 20 elephants. Highly recommended for your stay and for your safari needs.

We had a fantastic time at Chill House! The rooms are nice and the yard is spacious and comfortable. The owner (he was our safari guide as well) is a great host and guide, always available and caring. I think I ate the best curry at this place! Higly recommended!

Staff were great and super friendly. We organised the safari through them for 6900 each for 5 hours which was amazing. They educated us during it which was such an added bonus. At night we got dinner for 600 rupees and breakfast to take on the safari for 500 rupees. Well worth it!! Room was clean with a fan. Wifi wasnt strong as we were across the road but not a problem. Not near anything so only stay here to do the full package.
