Our group of three booked two rooms a couple of hours before checking in. The reservation was confirmed and all appeared well....until we showed up and was told by the lady owner that there were no rooms available. She had offered the rooms to other travellers (after receiving our booking) for what we discovered was at an inflated price. She promised to help us find alternative accommodation at a similar price range and also transport there. When we secured alternative accommodation (we had to find this ourselves as she was of no help) she refused to take us there. We paid for a car just to get to her Homestay from Udawalawa national park, only to have to find transport back. She was rude and greedy, and yelled at our guide! Just out to get your money!!! We met a UK couple there who said others have experienced the same thing. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! I would rate this place -5 stars if possible

It was a great stay for the amount of money I paid. Room and bathroom were cleaner than I expected. Especially bathroom was fully equipped. Host treated me well, even though I am a local.
The lady was extremely nice. She made for us an sri lankan curry that it was one of the bests we tasted, and I asked her something about the species, and she showed me the ones she used for cooking. A really nice experience. She organized the safari for us with a good guide, and price was ok.

Posto fantastico completamente immerso nella natura....Pace assoluta. Ad accogliervi una famiglia deliziosa e super disponibile. Potrete contare su di loro per organizzare safari e qualsiasi altro spostamento. Ottima cucina.
Уютные и чистые номера, лучше чем ожидалось. Приветливые хозяева. Сочетание цены и качества на уровне. Вкусная домашняя еда. Особенно тыква карри. Во дворе множество белок и птиц. Двор очень зелёный и уютный.
