Adventurous route to the water fall. The route is about 1.5km from the entrance. The route is covered with beautiful nature. Once you finished the route you will end up in a beautiful place under the waterfall. You can go to the top of the waterfall also. Once you get in there you can see the whole village view.

Great place to visit. nice waterfall. road is a little difficult. a little of the path contains a dam, a bridge, and, footpaths are to travel. you must buy tickets to visit. you can get to ticket counter when you go to a little up. you can camping in the upper part. upper part is very beautiful
Very beautiful water fall. U have to walk 1km its really fun u have to walk with next to little water steam. Ticket price will be 20rs

Waterfall in uvaparanagama village. Entrance ticket fee is for local 30 lkr and for foreigners 250lkr. Around 1km hike. Therefore wear shoes and bring some water bottles. One of the beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka.
We traveled there in January 2020 during the monsoon season. It was bit raining whole day and temperature about 12-13 degrees. There is no too much crowd because of the covid effect. We arrived in front of the fall around 11 o’clock and it was amazing sight. You cant even imagine that feeling. That was very fine and beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka. Some says this is widest waterfall in the island. How ever we spent almost 3 hours and came back. It was a beautiful fall and highly recommended ️
This is the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen. This feels like heaven. Recommended. You have to hike around 1.5 km.
