we had dinner here two nights in a row, and tried both the curries and the grilled tuna. absolutely superb! the greek salad and hummus starters were good as well (though not needed, portions are quite generous). service was wonderful, very welcoming. and location, right on the beach, cannot be beaten!

Delicious food, perfect location on the beach, good prices and excellent service. You can choose which fresh seafood, you want to eat, and they will grill it for you. Ours favourite restaurant in this area. Big, whole fish, two tiger prawns, chips and salad costed 4000 rupees(25) and that was enough for to people.

Stuff takes thing seriously, like in expensive restaurant. And for me - it's good. Food is delicious, plenty of sauces. Lobster 300gr cost me 2700, which is somewhat expensive (many beach rests have 1200 for whole lobster in Mirissa), but it was wonderful!

Great place to eat! Fresh fish cooked on the bbq is great. Traditional curry is also great !!! Must go here

If you are looking for the best sea food restaurant in Unawatuna, that’s the place to be. I come to Sri Lanka every year and every year Black and White becomes my canteen! Nice staff, affordable pricing, yummy food and free sun beds will make your stay wonderful. Lobsters, jumbo or tiger prawns, you have everything along with sandwiches and Sri Lankan food. Highly recommended, see you next year ?

Restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Friendly service with beach side location. Good seafood and menu choice although a little on the expensive side. Food is good quality, well cooked and with generous portions. We found it was always full of customers which is a good sign. Recommend.

A reasonably priced beach side restaurant. I would highly recommend the large prawns. Though the portion size was a little small for my taste, the flavor was amazing. The seer fish is pretty good too. Try and catch the Sunset here, because it's on a great spot on the unawatuna beach to just see the sun go down.

Ahhhhhhmazing restaurant. Right on the beach. Pick your seafood, then sit with your toes in the sand whilst it is cooked. Best seafood and service we have had in Sri Lanka so far. There is a reason this is the busiest restaurant on the beach!!
